When James and I went on our honeymoon, I tossed all of my jewelry into a makeup bag.  After untangling countless necklaces, James made me promise to never do this again.  So when we went on a long weekend up north, I took a bit more time with my jewelry packing.  Here is an easy way to pack your jewelry using things you are already probably taking.

Needed:

❤ Handkerchief or scarf

❤ Brooch or pin

❤ Various jewels

Lay your handkerchief flat and place your first necklace on the shortest end ❤ Fold over once ❤ Fold over again ❤ Keep placing and folding your jewelry, making sure to do two folds after each item ❤ Leave the bit at the end free to do at least 4 jewel-free folds ❤ Tie the two ends in a knot ❤ Pin them together
