Best of September

For me, September has been such a long month!  It’s been a month of growth and settling back in, and it’s been filled expeditions, checklists, friends and get togethers.  It seems like after the wedding, James and I have a new slate; now we can start carving out new habits and paths.  I’ve enjoyed dreaming and planning, but it makes it more challenging for me to live in the moment. Oh, but the joys of dreaming!

At the beginning of the month, I said I wouldn’t be posting much, and I ended up posting almost every single day.  I guess I’m better at it when the pressure is off.  Here are some of my favorite posts from September:

I dove a little deeper into the mysterious world of using Waste Vegetable Oil to fuel cars.

I did my first duty as the new Mrs. Hobbs and painted a vintage bunny sign.

I did a DIY on making drawstring bags for the bulk bins.

I shared a natural recipe for cleaning water bottles.

I whipped up some of my own Pumpkin Pie Spice.

I shared a recipe for vegan Pumpkin Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies.

And of course, I listed many many new beauties in my Etsy shop: Lace Dresses, Lace Skirts, Vintage Lovelies, Nothing New Originals and Electronics Cases.

Phew!  It’s been a long tornado of a month, but the skies are clearing and I can’t wait for October.  I think I’ll start with some decorations…

Hope you had a happy September!
